Million fans of Nigerian super pop star, Tiwa Savage are divided over news of her signing a new deal with Jay Z‘s ‘Roc Nation’. While many believe it’s a mere rumour, others think the reports are true.
The news began yesterday May 25th 2016, when two respected Nigerian A&R executives Tola Odunsi and Bizzle Osikoya shared posts on social media stating that Jay Z has given the go-ahead for a deal to be signed with Tiwa.
With the story gaining momentum and spreading like wild fire, Tiwa and Mavin have maintained a suspicious silence, which many say could suggest agreement.
A source told us, ‘Tiwa Savage is truly in talks with Roc Nation and will be signing a new international management deal with them but I can’t give more details’.
Another source said, ‘You know the way Wizkid has a management deal with Disturbing London but still remained signed with Starboy? That’s the kind of international deal Tiwa is signing and she still remains signed to Mavin Records’.
If the deal is indeed true, Tiwa Savage will be joining international acts like Dj Khaled, Big Sean, Meek Mill, Rihanna and others who all have management deals with Roc Nation.
